Chrollo Lucilfer is the founder, leader, and member #0 of the Phantom Troupe, and he served as the main antagonist of the Yorknew City arc. His physical strength ranked seventh among the group. (via Wiki)

Appearance

Chrollo is a young man with black hair and grey eyes. Two of his distinguishing features are the cross-shaped tattoo on his forehead and a pair of orb-shaped earrings. He is usually seen wearing a dark purple coat that has white fur on the collar and wrists, unbuttoned to reveal his muscular physique. The coat is imprinted with a golden St. Peter's Cross on the back with two horns on it.

Prior to the foundation of the Phantom Troupe, Chrollo neither wore his trademark coat nor combed back his hair. When he approached Neon Nostrade to steal her Nen ability, he wore a blue blazer with his hair hanging down naturally and his cross tattoo hidden beneath a thick layer of wrappings.

His spider tattoo has the number 0 on the spider's abdomen,but the tattoo location has yet to be revealed, although the 1999 anime adaptation placed it on his right arm, with no apparent number.

chrollo was deadass love at first sight for 11 year old me. he actually changed my life i had never see someone so majestic in my life before seeing him on a wattpad fic felt like angels sprinkling fairy dust on my eyes he is a magical magical man i was absolutely entranced his big fat earrings and majestic hair and majestic face and i dont think ive ever started watching a show so soon after seeing a character i like because when i tell you i immediately went to go watch hunter x hunter after seeing him i didnt even blink i just searched up what anime is chrollo from and before i realised it i was already watching gon pull out a ginormous fish from a lake. dont know who tf told him to comb back his hair but even with his hair in greasy mode he still looks like a blessing because he really is just that goated and he really is just him and i feel like everyone knows that and they knwo that he (going off topic) absolutely smoked hisokas bum self and it wasnt cheating because nothing was stopping hisoka from being smart chrollo is just that guy AND hes the most beautiful creation ive ever seen i cant believe that someone could imagine that kind of beauty and have the ability to put it on paper its amazing + unlike hisoka and his bbl oufits chrollo has the best fashion sense ive seen from someone in that show like that jacket ? genius. the heavens arena fit? oh my god hes done it again i know ive already said it but he really is just that guy and no one can compare because his aura in both ways is so immense he is the true female gaze and when he had that cut on his face when he was fighting zeno and silva chrollo take a break how do you keep doing this again and again the majesticicity is too strong and i was going to end this here but i just got one more look at him on my page and those lucious eyelashes there are tears flowing down my face he is so beautiful

he is so fucking strange it kills me because whilst im writing this there are like 67 different things i could write about him an i have no idea where to start. when he first shows up in yorknew city arc he acts super nonchalant duke dennis mode maximum hes just sat there reading a book although hes lowkey a whore at the start as well causw WHATTT was the reason for his jacket to be completely open with nothing underneath it six pack and all and ofc he had to slick his hair back for the maximum revealing skin possible cause we gotta see the forehead too or something i mean i dont mind 👅 but thats not the point hes definitely similar to that quiet aura farming super strong villain trope as his first impression and its not a bad trope i love it call me a 6 year old but so hyped whenever a character has a first impression like that,, and then after wards he kinda has that same impression but also he seems more theatrical and human with him crying over uvo and his stunt chopping neon but also with his fight with the zoldycks where i aactually cannot explain how to describe him then but he was super captivating and swift and after the fight i jsut really wanted to know more about him because he left me on a personality cliffhanger whick makes no sense but shhh ok i would explain how his personality develops through his every appearance but NOOO ONEES readding allat so i'll give an ACTUAL interpretation of his personality now like uptil now so basically hes pretty collected and witty and i want to say charming but thats the wrong word i forogt the right word ,, he also doesnt seem to be scared of anything and especially not scared of death with him appearing to always be anticipating it and hes interested in humans and how they work cause hes an inhuman ruthless mass murderer who kills purely for his own gains and weird interests (said to be 'addicted to killing') and yet he cares immensly about his troupe members, not just crying and doing his aura farm requiem shit for uvo but also vowing to kill hisoka after kortopi and shalnark die at his hands, the way he reacts when it comes to human bonds is pretty interesting cause hes super apathetic to his enemies and all other innocent people but hes incredibly human and emotional to his troupe members who are the only people he cares about . adding on to him being witty, while being interested in the way humans work, hes manipulative and knows how to use the mindset of a normal human to his control like when he took neons ability (which circles back to him caring for the troupe because he uses this ability to predict the fate of him and the troupe) in short hes sinister, intelligent, calm, manipulative, theatrical, sometimes surprisingly human, apathetic to everyone but the troupe, curious about why hes the way he is, curious about why other humans are the way they are, doesnt back down, and all of that and more in another word cause words are slippingmy mind. my explanation doesnt do him justice i feel like im missing stuff READ HXH and see for yourself hes an interesting majestic guy i need him dead + as a child hes the complete opposite but you can see for yourself why he changes so much he used to be such a cutie pie and now hes a complete prick i love him

Why I love him so much :

usually id put a backstory thing here but i am not subjecting myself to re processing chrollos backstory i will lose it i can not see baby chrollo be upset hes so cute so im going to talk about his 67 mango aura moments ok so first thing coming to my mind ( nothing is ranked here btw ) is the fake 'all spiders are dead' stunt it was so smart and deadass had me fooled i knew chrollo and hisoka would live but i thought theyd just barely get saved while the rest of the troupe would be dead it was so cool i loved watching it and it was such an interesting idea + plays into his smartness i lvoe watching smart characters ok i love lelouch and i love light and L but who gaf about them rn second moment is when hes locked up by kurapika and he plays into kurapikas emotional weaknesses to get him riled up i loved watching that third thing is obviously the MAFIA MASSACRE which was dedicated to uvo i was so hyped watching it i replayed it twice it was insane i loved it fourth is his fight with hisoka IT WAS AWESOMEEE his fit was insane him using the audience as bowling balls had me 🆙 plus seeing him use his stolen abilities was so crazy people say hisoka wouldve won with no prep time but who stopped hisoka from prepping to battle IQ is part of the battle and chrollo makes up for what he loses in phsyical strength with an amazing nen skill and smarts that beat hisoka + hisoka likes kids also his fight with the zoldycks was nice watching him manage to not get killed by 2 best zoldycks was crazy it puts into perspective how strong he is cause the whole fight he was just trying to steal the zoldycks abilities not actually kill them plus he was majestic as fuck when he got his face cut and he shook his bandage off he knew he did aswell boi i can see you trying to pose anyway i love chrollo a lot everytime he appears something crazy is always happening hes an amazing character hes one of my 67 husbands i love him so much
